Psalm 150

Hanging psalms on clearly defined journeys is a very effective. Here Psalm 150 is placed in the Royal Albert Hall, London.

In your mind start sitting on the roof. Then hang on the discs in the auditorium roof space; fly down to the Musical Director (conductor) on the stage, and so on. This ‘journey’ will help you find the next verse.

Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens![a]
Praise him for his mighty deeds;
    praise him according to his excellent greatness!

Praise him with trumpet sound;
    praise him with lute and harp!
Praise him with tambourine and dance;
    praise him with strings and pipe!
Praise him with sounding cymbals;
    praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

OUTSIDE on the ROOF = This is God’s SANCTUARY  
Praise the Lord
Praise God in his Sanctuary


Go through a trapdoor in the roof
INSIDE Discs in the roof space = HEAVENS  
Praise him in his mighty heavens!

Fly down to the STAGE
The Mighty Deeds = the Musical Director
( conductor)
Praise him for his Mighty Deeds

an Easter Egg is lowered down on cords
Praise him according to his Excellent Greatness

Think of clear positions for each instrument on the stage e.g. the trumpets on higher level at the back Dancers at front etc.          

Trumpet player STANDS
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet


Lute and harp SIT
Praise him with lute and harp
 
Tambourine player DANCES
Praise him with tambourine and dance
 
Lots of String players – and RAH ORGAN pipes
Praise him with strings and pipe!

Percussion section one player standing
Praise him with sounding cymbals

AUDITORIUM 6000 people!    
The entire audience stand to crash loud cymbals
Praise him with loud clashing cymbals!

OUTSIDE the RAH
the entire building inhales and expels breath of praise.!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the LORD
